The Hero’s Heroes: Our Donors

For every Batman there is a Robin. Philanthropy is an important funding source for our not-for-profit organization. Each gift GRMC receives helps us meet the needs of our service area, introduce new programs, and purchase technology to better diagnose and treat patients—in short, to continue performing super-heroic tasks.

Even though 2009 was a challenging year for our economy, the response from GRMC’s donors leapt over tall buildings. In fact, 2009 was the best year ever in the medical center’s annual giving history, as we received more than $363,000 in annual fund gifts. We deeply appreciate the generosity of the 1,032 donors who made this achievement possible.
