| Legacy Club
The GRMC Legacy Club recognizes those who have made a bequest or a planned gift to the medical center.
Honoring these donors is one way for GRMC to thank them and publicly express appreciation for their generosity.
Those donors who have made planned gifts through GRMC or have made provisions for GRMC in their will or trust are considered members of the Legacy Club. There is no minimum amount required for bequests. Legacy Club donors leave a legacy by supporting the future of quality compassionate healthcare at GRMC and inspiring others to consider similar gifts.
Donors of bequests may indicate their intention by submitting a copy of the section in their will that designates GRMC as a recipient.
Planned gifts such as gift annuities, pooled income funds, and various trusts provide a life income for one or two beneficiaries with gifts of $5,000 or more. Planned gifts are arranged through the Office of Development.
Benefits for You
By far the greatest benefit of a bequest or planned gift is the feeling of leaving a legacy that donors enjoy, knowing that their gift will be used according to their wishes to continue quality compassionate healthcare at GRMC.
Legacy Club donors establish an ongoing relationship with GRMC as partners and are kept informed of special events, projects, and plans for improvement. In addition, the names of donors, with permission, are included on the Legacy Club recognition plaque located near the northeast entrance to the medical center.
A bequest or planned gift provides a means for you to make an important contribution to GRMC without depleting your present or retirement financial needs.
There may be tax advantages for you or your estate. Consult your financial advisors to determine the tax benefits of your estate plan. Experience the joy that comes with knowing you are playing a significant role in GRMC’s future.
All bequests and planned gifts provide financial resources for GRMC’s future. Unrestricted gifts will be used where needed most. However, you may choose to designate your gift for a specific area.
The Office of Development is happy to work with you to ensure that your expectations for your bequest or planned gift are satisfied in every respect.
